As more and more people discover the ease of travel with PCR tests and the vaccine passports, they still feel unsafe when coming to other country where they are not familiar with the rules and regulations, they don't know how to pass the test, which phone to call to ask for medical assistance. And finally, where they don't know the code of conduct as despite similarities, it is very different in every country of the world.

In this post we decided to collect all the information one may need to be able to have a safe and no-trouble-at-all trip to Mallorca. Here's the basic information, clustered according to the main topics:
Current Covid-19 Regulations. Usually you can find all of these regulations on the following web-pages:
https://www.majorcadailybulletin.com (news portal)
https://www.abc-mallorca.com/coronavirus-travel-to-mallorca-now (high-quality updated data)
Also on our Facebook page we constantly post infographics with the summary of the latest regulations and rules of conduct in the state of coronavirus epidemy.
2. PCR-tests. Recently I found a very good and detailed German article about the medical centers and hospitals providing PCR-tests for tourists: Covid-Tests auf Mallorca - die laufend aktualisierte Liste. In general, there are three types of centers:
Palma Airport which we don't recommend at all as they require an appointment, and it is almost always booked before your departure flight. Moreover, the actual result time is usually over 35-40 minutes. I've already seen people rushing to their boarding gate after taking this type of risky adventure.
Hospitals and Centers of Health: usually without appointment (better still call and check with them), but if in highly-populated locations, may have long queues.
Private Medical Centers, usually placed all over the island, no appointment is necessary, but you may have to pay 120-150 euro for the PCR-test.
According to the law which has been published on May 13th, 2021, no PCR test should be over 75 euros per person. Of course, depending on the speed of results the price can be higher. Somehow the majority of state centers hibernate on this price level, but private clinics ignore this.
3. More information is less information. When faced with the fact that you are already travelling to Mallorca, it is hard not to get overwhelmed by the quantity of information on the web. Adding the social networks and TV, you might get very confused. Please trust only the articles which are written by the serious government sources. Today every second blogger tries to get better rating by putting the words Covid-19 to his/her post. I will not be speculating on that. I would only like to give you short answers to take away any anxiety and confusion you might have.
4. Hotels and other tourism infrastructure safety. The majority of hotels and restaurants in Mallorca are safe. They were safe a year before. Balearic islands throughout the whole pandemic period and with the state of alarm in the entire Spain has always been a little nerd by not reaching the minimum numbers of cases. If Mallorca was not part of Spain, in other words, it would have been the green zone all the time.
5. People in Mallorca follow the rules in general. But with adding a little bit of logic to all what has been said before and what was imposed. I won't be posting here stimulating someone to take off masks, but if you're inside a forest or in a faraway park zone, you can walk without your mask worn. And breathe some fresh sea salt and iodine. Hopefully, Mallorca's air recovers your health and we'll all forget about Covid-19 soon.
Let's hope for the better. And don't panic.
